Strążyska Valley, one of montane valleys of Tatra, as being easily accessible from Zakopane, is a frequent walk destination of tourist of any age. We can get to its outlet with our own transport (many parkings lots, with bus spots) or use the public means of transportation.

On the valley entrance we must buy Tatra National Park entry tickets. Right behind the booth are TPN info boards and toilets. We go through valley's bottom, admiring tree stands. We are surrounded by fertile carpathian beech. After around 5 minutes, we pass forester's lodge on Młyniska clearing and a small platform, from which we can see herbal grassland and artificial water tank – amphibian cluster. Venturing further, we reach Jelinka boulder region, from where it's not too far from Strążyska Clearing. It's worth to take a note of low down mountain pine here. Such sight is not too common for alpine floors. In front of us draws a pleasant, quite easy approach. Also, our eyes meet the enormous, 600 meters northern wall of Giewont. The trail turns right here, and through Grzybowiec Pass it runs further into Giewont region. We however won't stay much longer on valley's bottom, and, passing black signatures, we direct ourselves to the buffet and wooden benches, where we can have a rest. If we want to extend our walk, we can go a little further, where a short yellow trail starts, leading towards requently visited waterfall of Siklawica (15 minutes from Strążyska clearing).
